Position: Senior Director
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Job Location: New York, NY
Salary: up to $100k base OTE $150-225k+

The New York Times called AC Lion “an innovative and effective approach in today’s job market.” Founded in 1996, AC Lion evolved from one of New York’s first search firms for Internet start-ups into one of the nation’s premier boutique recruitment firms, specializes in sales, marketing and technology professionals for the online advertising and interactive agencies.

AC Lion is in the middle of a major staffing expansion for the second half of 2006. We are looking for seasoned recruiters, experienced in managing a full desk with an understanding and knowledge of not just the staffing and recruiting industry, but also their target verticals. As we specialize in sales recruiting, senior sales people with 5 years complex business-to-business sales experience are also strong candidates. We have a proven track record in making highly successful recruiters out of strong sales people.

In business since 1996, we do contingency-based, perm placements only. 65% of our business is in the online media space and the balance is financial services, professional services and consulting firms. We're looking for people to come and help us kick it up a notch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct full life-cycle recruiting for AC Lion
• Management of sales/recruiting team, including training, assessment and management against   quota. Coach and develop recruiters, ensure quality standards for their work and their performance   goals.
• Drive new business and upsell of existing accounts.
• Build a strong link with the Senior Leadership to develop effective global selling/account   management strategies.
• Proactively drive recruitment processes and initiatives that strategically impact the AC Lion’s    business.
• Make significant contribution and influence into the global business strategy.
• Ensuring attainment of revenue and profit goals. (Accurate forecasting, pipeline development)
• Navigate complex organizations and engage at many levels to influence key decision makers

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years proven track record in recruiting, agency preferred OR 5 years of complex    business-to-business sales experience.
• Significant success selling to new accounts and expansion of existing accounts. Track record of    quota attainment.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of business issues and industry trends facing the staffing    industry and/or target verticals.
• Entrepreneurial attitude. Goal oriented, financially motivated, and efficient
• Strong professional presence.
• College degree, MBA or similar degree a plus.
• Strong PC skills (internet, databases, excel). The people who thrive here have several things in    common. They're energetic, go-getter types (we move pretty quickly around here). They don't    mind being flexible (since change naturally goes with creativity and growth). And they're "people    people." You gotta love the people contact in this field.
